Warranty Policy

Return and Refund Policy

Customers are encouraged to review the warranty policy to understand how warranty requests are honored. Avionics Quality Services, warrants that all Inspected, Repaired or Overhauled units finished at the time of shipping will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. 


 Bench Test / Inspect: Unit’s that are only Bench Tested and found to be within tolerance as described by manufacturer’s specifications, there will be NO warranty implied.
 Repair: Avionics Quality Services, will hold responsible on defects becoming apparent within 6 months from the date on the CoC or 8130-3. This warranty does not give full     coverage on any failure during this time but is limited to the labor and parts/materials replaced by AQS at the time of the Repair. (Excluding accessories not serviced by Avionics Quality Services or customer supplied parts/materials)
 Overhaul: Avionics Quality Services, will hold responsible on defects becoming apparent within 12 months from the date on the CoC or 8130-3. This warranty does not give full coverage on any failure during this time but is limited to the labor and parts/materials replaced by AQS at the time of the Overhaul. (Excluding accessories not serviced by Avionics Quality Services or customer supplied parts/materials) 


The following conditions will result in immediate denial of a warranty claim:  
If the customer failed to pay for the service as agreed.  If the component arrives with broken Warranty Seals.  If the component was damaged by accident or due to improper storage or operation.  If the component has been damaged in shipping transit. If the component had been improperly installed by the manufacturer, repair facility, or end user.  If the component had been subjected to improper usage, mistreatment, tampering, neglect, or contamination, If the component has been repaired/altered at another repair facility or if any attempt is made to repair the component. If the component is damaged by aircraft or aircraft wiring.    
Components that fail must be returned to Avionics Quality Services, at the customer expenses within 30 days after failure. Warranty will be denied if the component has not been reported to Avionics Quality Services as defective and/or shipped outside the stipulated time frame.
